Yes. SuperAge works through Apple Health on iPhone.
Apple Health is the data hub that matters for this setup. A device or service can still be part of your workflow, but the exact metric has to appear in Apple Health and SuperAge must have permission to read it.
Apple explains the Health app and its data sources here:
What can work
- Apple Watch and iPhone health data that already flows into Apple Health.
- Third-party devices or apps when they write the needed metric into Apple Health.
- Mixed setups where some metrics come from Apple devices and others come from another app, as long as Apple Health holds the supported metric.
- SuperAge can use the data after the metric appears in Apple Health with recent entries and read permission is still enabled.
What will not work
- Using SuperAge without Apple Health on iPhone.
- Expecting SuperAge to read directly from a tracker or service that never writes the metric into Apple Health.
- A value that exists only inside the source app and never appears in Apple Health.
- Assuming that a source app writes every metric you need just because it writes one or two of them.
Check in this order
- Open Apple Health and search for the exact metric you expect SuperAge to use.
- Confirm the metric has recent entries and not only older history.
- Open the metric details in Apple Health and inspect the source or data source details if the value looks incomplete or comes from the wrong app.
- Check that the source app still has permission to write that metric into Apple Health.
- Check that SuperAge still has permission to read that metric from Apple Health.
- Reopen SuperAge only after the metric appears in Apple Health with recent data and the right permissions are still enabled.
When the problem is outside SuperAge
If the metric is missing from Apple Health, stale in Apple Health, or written by the wrong source, fix that path first. SuperAge cannot use a metric that never reaches Apple Health.
If Apple Health already has the right metric with recent entries from the expected source and SuperAge still has permission to read it, treat the issue as a SuperAge-side problem rather than only an Apple Health or source-app problem.
When to contact SuperAge
Email [email protected] only after Apple Health shows the metric with recent entries and SuperAge has read permission. Include the metric name, the Apple Health source shown for that metric, device model, iOS version, and the date range that is missing in SuperAge.
