SuperAge offered a lifetime purchase in the past, but it is no longer available. The plan changed because Pro features rely on ongoing cloud and AI costs that a one-time payment cannot sustain over time.
Why we moved away from the lifetime plan
Most Pro features rely on infrastructure that costs money every month, not just at launch. AI-powered analysis, cloud sync, and processing services are billed continuously by the providers we depend on. A one-time payment cannot fund a service that keeps running for years.
A subscription also lets us keep improving the product over time. Health science evolves, new biomarkers become relevant, Apple updates HealthKit, and new devices ship. Recurring revenue funds the team that keeps SuperAge current instead of frozen at the version you bought.
How Pro features evolve over time
Our development policy follows a gradual rollout:
- New features usually launch as Pro-only to validate them and to fund the initial development cost.
- Over time, features that do not carry a recurring infrastructure cost are progressively released to all users, including the free tier.
- Features that depend on paid cloud or AI services stay in Pro because every use generates a real cost we have to pay.
This means the free version of SuperAge keeps gaining capabilities that were once Pro-exclusive, while Pro stays focused on what genuinely needs ongoing funding.
You can use SuperAge without Pro
The core app is fully usable without a subscription. You can track your biological age, log workouts and nutrition, view trends, and use the main health features without paying.
Pro is there for users who want the advanced AI-driven features and want to support continued development. It is not a paywall around the basic experience.
