Getting Started with SuperAge

Welcome to SuperAge! This guide will help you set up the app and start discovering your true biological age.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • iPhone running iOS 14.0 or later
  • Apple Watch with watchOS 7.0 or later (optional but recommended)
  • Apple Health app installed and configured with some health data
  1. Download SuperAge from the App Store
  2. Open the app for the first time
  3. Grant permissions when prompted for Health app access

SuperAge will request access to several Health data categories:

  • Heart Rate - Resting and active heart rate measurements
  • Steps - Daily step count and walking patterns
  • Sleep Analysis - Sleep duration and quality metrics
  • Active Energy - Calories burned during activities
  • Body Mass - Weight measurements for more accurate calculations
  • Body Mass Index - BMI data if available
  • Respiratory Rate - Breathing patterns during sleep
  • Heart Rate Variability - HRV measurements for stress analysis

After granting permissions:

  1. Wait for data processing - This may take a few minutes for the first calculation
  2. Review your biological age - Your first assessment will appear on the main dashboard
  3. Explore the insights - Check out personalized recommendations based on your data

If you have an Apple Watch:

  1. Install the Watch app - It will automatically sync from your iPhone
  2. Open SuperAge on your Watch - Your biological age appears as a complication
  3. Enable notifications - Get daily insights and motivation directly on your wrist

Your initial biological age calculation is based on available historical data from your Health app. The more data you have, the more accurate your assessment will be.

  • Biological Age - Your calculated physiological age
  • Chronological Age - Your actual age for comparison
  • Age Difference - How much younger or older your body appears
  • Trend Graph - Historical progression if you have enough data

To get the most accurate results:

  • Wear your Apple Watch consistently - Especially during sleep
  • Use Health-compatible apps - For activities like workouts and meditation
  • Regular weigh-ins - If you have a smart scale, connect it to Health
  • Be patient - Biological age calculations improve with more data over time

Now that SuperAge is set up:

  1. Read about biological age - Learn what it means
  2. Explore your dashboard - Understand all the metrics
  3. Start improving your score - Get actionable recommendations

If you encounter any issues during setup:

  • No data showing? - Check that Health app permissions are granted
  • Biological age seems wrong? - Wait 24 hours for more accurate calculations
  • Watch app not syncing? - Make sure both devices are connected and updated
